Page 4: Later, a Canaanite woman approached, begging Jesus to heal her daughter. "She's suffering so much," Ish said, her heart aching for the woman. Page 5: Jesus initially seemed to ignore her, but the woman persisted. "She really believes Jesus can help," Osh noticed, impressed by her faith. Page 6: Jesus, testing her faith, said He was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel. The woman humbly replied even dogs eat crumbs from the master's table. Page 7: Impressed by her faith, Jesus granted her request. "Even though she wasn't Jewish, Jesus helped her," Osh observed, realizing compassion has no boundaries. Page 8: Later, a large crowd gathered, and Jesus healed their sick and suffering. "So many people are hurting," Ish whispered, overwhelmed by the sight. Page 9: Jesus then miraculously fed over four thousand people with just a few loaves and fish. "How can he feed so many with so little?" Osh gasped, his mouth wide open in amazement. Page 10: "It's a reminder that God can do anything, even the impossible," XL said, her voice full of wonder. Page 11: On their way back, they discussed how important it is to have faith and show kindness to everyone. "It's not enough to just follow rules," Osh said, recalling the Pharisees. Page 12: Back home, Osh and Ish tried to be more compassionate and understanding, realizing it's what's in our hearts that truly matters.

Harvey is a 16 year old boy who is working as a newspaper delivery boy for the newspaper company. He gets paid every Thursday. This is his first job and he gets paid by check. Mr. Smith is his boss. Thursday Harvey gets his first paycheck and gets very sad. He was supposed to make 100 dollars but the check is only 70 dollars. Mr. Smith sees that Harvey gets sad and explains to him what deductions are. He starts with federal taxes which is about 8 dollars from Harvey's paycheck. The government collects taxes from all citizens to built bridges and highways and fund the army. He then explains what the social security deduction is for and also, medicare, state and city taxes. At the end Harvey is glad that the government is thinking to save money for him so he gets it when he retires. Sparky is Harvey's dog. He is sad when Harvey is sad and then gets happy at the end when Harvey understands how taxes work.

A Library Book is excited to be the newest book in the library. Children are excited to borrow the new book. we follow one boy on his week with the library book reading it in the back of his car, at dr appointments and at bedtime. When the boy returns the book to the library a new boy checks it out. This boy is named Edward. Edward does not take care of the library book. He leaves it on the floor. A dog picks up the book in its mouth and carries it outside. Edwards mom finds the book outside and puts it in a dark closet. The library book is so sad. He sits in the dark closet for weeks until a letter comes from the library saying "Please return this book to the library, if this book has gone missing, please replace the book so others can enjoy it" Edward forgot all about the library book! He looks in all the regular places, on his bookshelf, under his bed. He can't find it anywhere! Finally Edwards mom tells Edward, "Maybe we need to start looking in some weird places" Edward looks on top of the fridge, behind the computer, even in his dirty clothes basket. Edward finally opens up the closet to find the lost library book! Edward and his mom bring the book back to the library where a young girl promptly checks it out again
