Harvey is introduced to new philosopher by Mr. Smith. His name is Friedrich Nietzsche and he was one of the most influential German classical scholar of the 18th century. Mr. Smith told Harvey that Nietzsche was the youngest person as chair of Classical Philology at the University of Basel in Switzerland in 1869, at the age of 24. Harvey was so impressed and amazed. Mr. Smith continues to explain Friedrich Nietzsche's main philosophical concept which is based on two figures in ancient Greek mythology Apollo and Dionysus. Mr. Smith also said that Nietzsche found in classical Athenian tragedy an art form that transcended the pessimism found in the so-called wisdom of Silenus. The Greek spectators, by looking into the abyss of human suffering depicted by characters on stage, passionately and joyously affirmed life, finding it worth living. The main theme in The Birth of Tragedy is that the fusion of Dionysian and Apollonian Kunsttriebe ("artistic impulses") forms dramatic arts or tragedies. He argued that this fusion has not been achieved since the ancient Greek tragedians. Apollo represents harmony, progress, clarity, logic and the principle of individuation, whereas Dionysus represents disorder, intoxication, emotion, ecstasy and unity (hence the omission of the principle of individuation). Nietzsche used these two forces because, for him, the world of mind and order on one side, and passion and chaos on the other, formed principles that were fundamental to the Greek culture: the Apollonian a dreaming state, full of illusions; and Dionysian a state of intoxication, representing the liberations of instinct and dissolution of boundaries. In this mould, a man appears as the satyr. Harvey felt so empowered and understood what Nietzsche meant; life is full of suffering and chaos and hard work and that's where we should find enjoyment and happiness by valuing what is most worth to us.

Capturing the imagination: The proclamation captured the imagination of millions of Americans. Authorizing the recruitment of African Americans: The proclamation authorized the recruitment of African Americans into the Union army. By the end of the Civil War, about 180,000 African Americans had served in the Union army and 18,000 in the navy. Transforming the war: The proclamation transformed the character of the war. 4. Yuēhàn told John Jr that The proclamation declared "that all persons held as slaves" within the rebellious states "are, and henceforward shall be free." and it applied to the following states: South Carolina, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Virginia, Arkansas, and North Carolina.

It is about a turtle and his name is Toby. The story is about Toby being very scared of everything and always going back inside his shell. lots of things terrify him on his daily adventures and I want the kids to laugh and have fun with the story. I run my hand over the lid. “Let’s decorate it. I want it to look just right.” Page 13-14 I draw a heart, and Mom helps me write “I love Dad.” Now our box is ready. Page 15-16 We look for Dad’s things. I find his football jersey and hold it close. “It smells like him.” Page 17-18 We find football tickets. I smile. “I remember that game—it was so fun!” Page 19-20 I find a shiny rock. Me and Dad found this on the beach. “It’s lucky.” Page 21-22 I put everything inside the box and close the lid. “Now I have a box of love.” Page 23-24 The next morning, I open the box. I take out Dad’s jersey and hold it tight. I feel connected to him. Page 25-26 Then I look at the rock and remember our trip to the beach. I smile. Mom hugs me. “Dad isn’t here, but love never leaves.” I close the box and hold it close. Dad will always be with me.

In a beautiful coral reef, Dolphin and Sea Turtle discover that their differences make their friendship special. One sunny day, Dolphin swims up to Sea Turtle. "Hey, let’s play together!" Dolphin says excitedly. Sea Turtle smiles but hesitates, "I’m slow. Will you wait for me?" Dolphin nods, "Of course! We’ll go at your pace." They swim through the reef, enjoying the colorful coral. Dolphin twirls and leaps, while Sea Turtle glides calmly. "You’re so fast," Sea Turtle says. "But I like how peaceful you are," Dolphin replies. They laugh, appreciating their different styles. Later, they play hide and seek. Dolphin counts while Sea Turtle hides behind a large piece of coral. "Found you!" Dolphin shouts. Sea Turtle laughs, "You’re too quick!" Suddenly, a big shadow appears above them. Sea Turtle gets scared. "What’s that?" Dolphin looks up, "It’s just a boat. Stay close to me!" But a net falls, trapping Sea Turtle. "Help!" he cries. Dolphin quickly pulls the net with her nose, freeing her friend. Once safe, Sea Turtle says, "We’re so different, but we make a great team." Dolphin agrees, "Our differences make us stronger." They smile, knowing that true friendship embraces every unique part of who they are.

The lonely scary woman across the street was someone children stayed away from. However, things aren't always as we expect them to be... She was an angel who fought monsters at night to keep the children safe.

Mum and dad return from hospital and tell Lily that unfortunately the baby did not survive. They grieve the loss of the child and plant a tree to remember the baby girl by. At the end Lily holds hands with her mum and dad and looks up to a big shining star in the sky above their cottage
