Ms. Dennis tells the children find something they have in common, and asks them to bring an item that symbolizes the holidays they celebrate. When the children return, Avery brought a red, a blue, and a gold candle Avery's family celebrates Human Light, the candles represent, reason, compassion & hope. Jordan brings a Kinara his family celebrates Kwanzaa they light the candles to symbolize their community. Taylor brings a star from his Christmas tree. He explains that he celebrates Christmas and that the star is a reminder of the North Star the wise men followed to find Jesus. Mako brings a Bodi tree with lights. Mako's her family celebrates Bodi day, the day when the Buddha achieved enlightenment the lights on the tree represent the path to enlightenment. Alex brings a Menorah, Alex's family celebrates Hannukah, and the candles symbolize light's triumph over dark. River brings in a crown made of holly candles sticking out of it. her family celebrates Winter Solstice & the return of the sun. Ms. Dennis says all their celebrations revolve around light and the symbol of the Unitarian Universalist Church is a flaming chalice, each of the children have a light inside of them. River suggests they sing "This little light of mine" for the winter concert. Everyone agrees.

The story begins with Jax playing on the sandy shore, building sandcastles and collecting seashells. His parents are nearby, watching him with smiles as he laughs and explores. The sun is shining, and the waves gently crash on the beach. Jax loves the ocean and often wonders what it would be like to swim with the creatures he sees in his books. Suddenly, Jax notices something unusual in the water—a large, friendly orca is waving at him with its fin! The orca introduces itself as Ollie and invites Jax to join him on an underwater adventure. Jax, curious and excited, agrees. Ollie gives Jax a magical seashell necklace that allows him to breathe underwater and swim like a fish. Jax says goodbye to his new friends, promising to visit again someday. Ollie swims him back to the beach, where Jax’s parents are waiting. When Jax looks back at the ocean, he sees Ollie’s fin waving goodbye. Jax runs to his parents, excitedly telling them about his adventure. They smile and listen, even though they think he’s just imagining things. But Jax knows it was real—he still has the magical seashell necklace as a reminder.

1. John Jr and Vasi were bored and started to brainstorm ideas that they could do. John Jr's mom heard and told them about a new kids museum in town. John Jr was excited, so they packed up some stuff and headed to the museum. 2. They arrived at The Museum of Children's Creations. The admission was free for kids. Once inside they were amazed. Everything in the museum had been made by a child. 3. The first thing they saw was a trampoline. John Jr and Vasi jumped around on it and Vasi did some cool flips. Then they saw some toy trucks that a 6 year old had invented. John Jr was really impressed by that. They saw braille used by blind people, Popsicles and magnetic locker paper all had been created by teenagers. 3. John Jr saw ear muffs and crayon holders were also invented by kids. John Jr was really surprised at the inventions of children. 4. John Jr and Vasi saw that Ben Franklin started inventing stuff as a young boy with his invention of swim flippers. They thought it was really neat that Christmas lights were also a kids idea. But the thing that amazed John Jr and Vasi was the invention of the snowmobile. 5. John Jr and Vasi bought a souvenir and headed home. They were trying to think of something they could invent. They possed an unmatched sense of wonder and possibility.
