Up in the sky, Maya and Pablo spread their wings to fly. Maya is a bird who is small, with a voice so sweet; she is a cheerful friend to all. Pablo is bold, with colorful feathers in sight, hiding his shyness with all his might. They love the breeze swaying them with glee and keeping them flying free. But one day, a dark cloud comes and roars with a storm. “I am so bored; I will take your rainbow’s glow.” The colors vanish, and no more light shines. “Only if you can ease my boredom then I will bring back your rainbow.” So Maya sings softly; her voice takes flight, hoping her tune will bring back the light. “Come back, dear rainbow!” she chirps with care. The cloud cannot hear her, and no colors return—the sky stays gray. Then she asks for Pablo’s help. “Your voice is strong—please sing with me!” Pablo hesitates but still tries, “Oh, lovely cloud, please give us back our light.” Maya chirps kindly, “Together we’re strong! Your voice will help my little song.” Pablo sings, “I am your friend, of course I will help you get our rainbow, dear.” The dark cloud smiles and also sings, “Now I am full of joy, your rainbow here it goes.” Together, they make the rainbow glow! Its colors return—red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. Rainbow Land rejoices as the light breaks through. Maya and Pablo sing happily because their teamwork brings back harmony. “By helping each other,” says Maya with cheer. Pablo replies, “We can overcome any challenge or fear!” The animals dance beneath the sky’s hue; the rainbow is back—its colors anew! Maya and Pablo learn today that friendship and courage light the way! The End

Gabby is 7 years old, she was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus erythematosus and i want to write a childrens book trying to explain the disease to her in simple terms, how the disease works and what are the triggers so she can avoid them but explain it in terms of a kid at 7 years of age would understand, her triggers are usually the sun, infections and stress, her symptoms are usually pain in her tummy, blood clots and bruising in her hands and feet, recently she had a chest infection that got really bad she had to be in ICU where the doctors had to "turn off" her immune system because it was attacking her heart, kidneys, lungs and brain, she had to be sedated (like sleeping beauty) so she can be intibated and treated with steroids and antibiotics, the story should be like an adventure and not scary, she can be a detective in the story trying to get to know her disease and this is part 1

Grandma’s Volcano Story Vika loved asking Grandma questions. Grandma always had great answers! “Grandma, how did the volcano get there?” Vika asked. Grandma smiled. “The Earth has big rocks under the ground. These rocks move, like boats on water. When two rocks crash together, hot liquid called magma comes up. This makes a volcano!” Vika thought about boats bumping—Splash! She could see it in her mind. “When a volcano erupts, hot lava comes out,” Grandma said. “Smoke, rocks, and ash fly in the air. That is why we must be careful.” Vika looked at the volcano near her village. Sometimes she saw smoke. “When the volcano erupts, the hot gas and lava push through a hole on top. This hole is called a crater,” Grandma explained. Vika listened. Grandma was very good at explaining things! “Did you see a volcano erupt, Grandma?” Vika asked. “Yes,” Grandma said. “When I was little, the volcano near our village erupted.” “What did you do?” Vika asked. “We stayed inside and closed all the windows and doors. Then, our village leader told us to move to a safe place.” Vika imagined Grandma walking to a safe village. She looked at the volcano. It was quiet today, but if it started smoking, she would listen to Grandma!

1. John Jr and Hopsi was trying to figure out the virtue of hope. They went and asked John Jr's Mom to help them understand it better. John Jr's Mom sat down and said that she would explain hope to them. 2. John Jr's mom said hope was a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen. She said it is when we really want something to happen. She said we cherish our desires with an expectation in order to have hope. 3. John Jr's Mom urged John Jr and Hopsi to think about the future and to make plans. She said that envisioning a brighter or better future would allow John Jr and Hopsi to stay optimistic. 4. John Jr's Mom explained the types of hope. Material Hope, which is the sense of control when given the resources to deal with forces that affect everyday lives; Socractic Hope, which provides opportunities to question the unjust society; and Audacious Hope, which provides us strength through Christ , so we don't loose heart. The book of Isaiah in the Bible says we need to be Fearless and bold with our Audacious Hope. 5. John Jr found in the Bible the verse Romans 15:13 ~ "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope." John Jr and Hopsi decided that they would always stay hopeful. They decided that they would start praying for a better tomorrow.

The frog and the rat are best friends, they call each other Manayu or Mayumi. In their good company, the rat thought that they would compete in the jump to find out which of them would jump the highest. So the rat said to the frog, "Manyu, let's compete over who can jump the highest." "Sure. It would be good if we had a contest. Where to hold?" the frog replied. "There at Walu's house. We'll go up and jump. Manyu, come on," said the rat. They climbed to the top of the house. The first to jump was the rat and the frog followed. But when the frog landed, his foot broke. The rat panicked and said, "You're so pathetic. Your foot is broken. Come, I'll load you up behind me and we'll find a doctor who can heal your broken foot." They soon arrived at a place where an old woman was mowing the grass. "Ale, can you fix this Manayu flipped foot?" the rat asked. "Yes. "Wait until I'm done," the old woman replied. "I'll leave him here first and I'll be back tomorrow morning to pick him up." The rat left the frog and left. As soon as the rat left, the old lady got an onion. The frog asked him if he would take the onion. The old man answered. "So I can treat you." They went up to the house. He took the frog and wrapped it in the leaf with the onion. He roasted it and ate it. The next morning, the rat came back and asked the elder if he had healed his dear friend. The old man replied, "I couldn't fix his foot because I ate him yesterday." And he chased the earth to roast but it ran away immediately. The rat invited various animals such as bees, bees, ants, lapinigs, linta, squirrels and snakes and said they would gather at the old man's house at night. When the insects arrived, they attacked the old man. He hid in the bush but was bitten by the locusts, ants and the mob. He ran up the stairs and here, the snake bit him. Finally, the old man died.
