Mordecai & Esther’s Plan: Mordecai urges Esther to speak to the king to save her people, despite the risk. Esther’s Courage: Esther hosts two banquets and finally reveals to the king that she is Jewish and that Haman is plotting against her people. Haman’s Downfall: The king, enraged, orders Haman to be hanged on the gallows Haman had built for Mordecai.
