In a bright kitchen, sunny and grand, Lived a happy boy named Sammy McSand. He loved to make sandwiches, tasty and fun, So today he would show us how to make one! “First, we need bread!” Sammy shouted with glee, Two slices so soft, as fresh as can be. He opened the cupboard and found his best pair, A loaf of white bread with a crusty brown hair. “Now let’s spread butter, nice and smooth,” He grabbed his big knife and made a cool move. With a scoop and a swirl, he spread it with care, “Oh, how I love butter! It’s light as the air!” Next came the veggies, all crunchy and bright, Lettuce and tomatoes, such a lovely sight. He washed them so gently and sliced them with cheer, Stacking them neatly—oh, what fun, oh dear! “Now for the meat!” Sammy clapped with delight, He opened the fridge—what a wonderful sight! Turkey and ham, piled high with some cheese, “Just look at this goodness! I’ll eat it with ease!” “Don’t forget mustard! It adds a big zing!” He squeezed on a dollop—oh, what joy it can bring! Then he topped it with pickles, so crunchy and round, “A yummy sandwich! It’s the best to be found!” He placed the last slice on top with a thud, And gave it a press with a big happy “thud!” “Now, let’s cut it in half, so easy to share, I’ll take one to my friends, with love and with care!” With a plate full of sandwiches, Sammy did grin, “Making a sandwich is such a win-win! It’s fun to create, with flavors to mix, A sandwich adventure—a tasty fix!” So if you feel hungry and don’t know what to do, Just follow Sam’s steps, and you’ll make one too! She went to the bathroom where The sink was just the right height for her to reach, and her toothbrush had sparkly stars on it. She giggled as the minty bubbles filled her mouth. 3. Karmie skipped into the kitchen, where her breakfast waited for her. The smell of pancakes made her tummy rumble. She liked the way her chair fit just right at the table, and how the window let in the morning light. 4. After breakfast, it was time for some cartoons. Karmie settled onto the big, soft couch in the living room, hugging her dog, Reese, close. She loved this room, where she could cuddle up and watch her favorite shows. 5. It was time for Karmie and Reese to go outside. The trees were tall. Reese wagged his tail as they walked by the park, where Karmie played with her friends. 6.That night, her adults sat down with her. “Karmie,” they said, “we have some exciting news! We’re going to move to a new home soon.” Karmie felt her heart skip. 7. She held Reese's leash tightly as they walked to the moving truck. “I hope I like the new house,” she whispered to Reese. 8. When they arrived at the new house, Karmie took a deep breath and stepped inside. First, she saw her new bedroom. It was different, but still cozy, and her purple blanket was already on the bed. 9. In the new bathroom, her sparkly toothbrush was waiting by the sink, just like before. The kitchen smelled like pancakes, and Karmie noticed the sunlight pouring in through the windows, just like her old home. 10. That night she snuggled into her new bed. She still had her favorite things, her dog Reese, and most importantly, her family. “I think I’m going to love it here,” Karmie whispered, closing her eyes with a smile. 11. Karmie learned that even though she loved her old home, in her new home, she felt safe and happy, just like before.

Gus holds his hand up, excited to share his adventure with his friends. Gus sits at a table with a stack of colorful books, smiling proudly as he flips through the pages of his own book.

Evie and Ari were so excited—they were going camping with their parents! They set up two tents near a big, beautiful forest. Evie and Ari had butterfly catchers. But as soon as they tried to catch one, the butterfly fluttered away. “Let’s follow her!” Ari laughed. They ran after the butterfly, giggling, as it danced through the air. Then, little raindrops started falling. “I want to go back to Mama!” Evie cried. “I’m cold and wet.” They shouted Mom, dad, but the rain got stronger, and the sound of raindrops on the leaves was too loud—no one could hear them. Just then, a small, friendly bear appeared. “Come inside my cave!” he said. “You’ll be safe and dry in there.” Evie and Ari quickly ran into the bear’s cozy cave. They waited inside, drunk hot chocolate until the rain stopped and the sun came out again. “How will we find our way back?” Ari wondered. “I have an idea!” said the bear. “My friend the eagle can help!” The eagle agreed. “Hop onto my back! From the sky, you’ll be able to see your tents, and I’ll fly you home.” Evie and Ari climbed onto the eagle’s strong wings, and up they went! From high above, the trees looked tiny, and a soft breeze blew against their faces. “There! I see our tents!” Evie cheered. “Please take us down!” The eagle gently landed right next to their camping spot. “Thank you, eagle!” the kids said as they ran to their parents. Mama and Dad hugged them tight. “We were so worried!” they said. “We’re sorry,” Ari said. “We won’t go into the forest alone again!” That night, under the twinkling stars, Evie and Ari snuggled up in their tent, feeling safe and happy.
