However, he struggles with reading and writing—letters sometimes appear mixed up or reversed, making words difficult to read, and writing doesn’t always reflect what he means to say. This can be frustrating, but he reminds himself that learning is a journey, and he improves step by step. Sometimes, Sidney feels left behind when he sees his classmates finishing their work quickly. But when he attempts to read a book on his own and struggles, his friend Freddy steps in to help, breaking down words using pictures and sounds. Her father nodded and explained, “Allah gave each creature a special way to praise Him. The birds sing, and the trees grow tall and strong. Each one is special in its own way.” As they reached the edge of the lake, Thazkie saw fish swimming in the clear water. They looked so happy and free! “Papa, why did Allah make so many different animals?” she asked. Her father replied, “Allah created every animal, plant, and human with a purpose. Each one is a sign of His love and creativity.” On their way home, Thazkie thought about all the amazing things she saw. She felt grateful for the beautiful world Allah had created. “I want to thank Allah for all these wonderful things,” she said. Her father smiled and held her hand. “That’s right, Thazkie. We can thank Allah every day by appreciating His creations and taking care of them.” And from that day on, Thazkie remembered to look around her and say a little “thank you” to Allah whenever she saw something beautiful.
