On May 28, 2022, they get married on a beautiful farm in Salmon Arm, surrounded by both their families and friends. Two years later, they become permanent residents and buy a cozy apartment near Gateway Station in Surrey in 2023. By 2024, their lives take a magical turn—Mom is pregnant! On October 24, baby David is born, a healthy 4.5 kg bundle of joy. Mom’s parents fly in from Portugal to help, while Dad’s parents adore David from afar. It’s a story of love, resilience, and building a family in a new land.

The birds are singing!” her father said. Thazkie closed her eyes and listened carefully. “It sounds so peaceful,” she whispered. Page 4 Her father nodded and explained, “Allah gave each creature a special way to praise Him. The birds sing, and the trees grow tall and strong. Each one is special in its own way.” Page 3 As they reached the edge of the lake, Thazkie saw fish swimming in the clear water. They looked so happy and free! “Papa, why did Allah make so many different animals?” she asked. Her father replied, “Allah created every animal, plant, and human with a purpose. Each one is a sign of His love and creativity.” Page 4 On their way home, Thazkie thought about all the amazing things she saw. She felt grateful for the beautiful world Allah had created. “I want to thank Allah for all these wonderful things,” she said. Page 5 Her father smiled and held her hand. “That’s right, Thazkie.We can thank Allah every day by appreciating His creations and taking care of them.” And from that day on, Thazkie remembered to look around her and say a little “thank you” to Allah whenever she saw something beautiful.

The Apple of Friendship In a cozy forest lived three little animals: Bunny Ears, Hedgehog Spiky, and Squirrel Fluffy. They often played together in a sunny clearing. One day, Bunny Ears found a big, juicy apple. He was very excited and was about to eat it all by himself, but then he thought about his friends. "Hey, Spiky and Fluffy!" Ears called out. "I found a tasty apple. Let's share it!" Hedgehog and Squirrel came running, and together they divided the apple into three equal pieces. "How wonderful it is to have friends!" said Fluffy, munching on her piece. "And how nice it is to share!" added Spiky. From that day on, the little animals always shared everything they found. "It grants wisdom and strength to those who respect its magic." Lina touched the water, and it shimmered. She didn’t make a wish but instead thanked the forest for its beauty and adventure. The tree glowed brighter, as if acknowledging her gratitude. As the sun began to set, Arlo led them back to the forest edge. "Remember, the magic of the forest lives in your kindness and courage," he said before disappearing into the shadows. Lina and her parents returned to their campsite, feeling inspired and closer than ever. Lina couldn’t wait to tell everyone about the wonders they had discovered, knowing it would remain one of her favorite memories forever.
