A Library Book is excited to be the newest book in the library. Children are excited to borrow the new book. we follow one boy on his week with the library book reading it in the back of his car, at dr appointments and at bedtime. When the boy returns the book to the library a new boy checks it out. This boy is named Edward. Edward does not take care of the library book. He leaves it on the floor. A dog picks up the book in its mouth and carries it outside. Edwards mom finds the book outside and puts it in a dark closet. The library book is so sad. He sits in the dark closet for weeks until a letter comes from the library saying "Please return this book to the library, if this book has gone missing, please replace the book so others can enjoy it" Edward forgot all about the library book! He looks in all the regular places, on his bookshelf, under his bed. He can't find it anywhere! Finally Edwards mom tells Edward, "Maybe we need to start looking in some weird places" Edward looks on top of the fridge, behind the computer, even in his dirty clothes basket. Edward finally opens up the closet to find the lost library book! Edward and his mom bring the book back to the library where a young girl promptly checks it out again

A childrens book about a young Lakota Sioux Native American boy named Deacon. This story takes you through the daily things that Lakota Sioux do each day. Sioux means "little snakes" and Deacon is a proud member of the snake house. Lakota are known for their warrior culture and their Ghost Dance to protect their lands. Lakota Sioux manly hunt and eat buffalo. They would eat chokecherries and enjoy herbal tea. They use the buffalo skin to make blankets and teepees and moccasins for their feet. They live in "Tipis" the Sioux word for dwelling. The Lakota Sioux live in North America clustered in what is now Wisconsin, Minnesota and North and South Dakota or the Great Plains. Lakota Sioux were known for their beadwork and porcupine quillwork. Lakota Sioux would use canoes to travel and dogs/sleds to pull things. When horses were introduced to them it changed their culture. Long hair is important to the Lakota Sioux and should not be cut unless you are mourning the loss of a loved one. Lakota children played with rawhide dolls and throwing the willow spear. It is important to pass on the Lakota traditions and remember their 7 values of respect, compassion, honesty, generosity, wisdom, humility, and prayer.

Once upon a time, over a thousand years ago,in the 11th Century, there lived a brave Viking named Leif Erickson. Leif loved the sea, just like his father before him. He had a big ship, and he was always looking for new places to explore. One day, Leif heard stories about a mysterious land far to the west, beyond the cold waters from where he lived. Excited and curious, he gathered his crew and set sail. They packed their ship with food and strong shields for the journey. The wind blew, and the waves were bigger than expected, they splashed against his ship as they sailed across the ocean. The stars guided their way. For many days and nights, they sailed, until one day, they saw land in the distance! What could this new place be? Leif and his crew sailed closer and found a land with tall trees, and grapes growing on vines. Leif was so happy to see such a beautiful place that he named it Vinland, which means "Land of Wine." The Vikings set up camp and built small houses to stay in. They spent the winter in Vinland, enjoying the fresh food and exploring the forests and fields. But as winter came to an end, Leif knew it was time to return home. He and his crew packed up their ship, and with one last look at the beautiful land, they set sail back home. Leif promised himself he would tell everyone about this amazing place he had discovered. When they returned home, Leif shared the story of Vinland with other Vikings. Even though he never returned to Vinland, he was proud to be the first European to find and explore it. And so, the tale of Leif Erickson and his journey across the Atlantic Ocean was told for many years. He showed everyone that with bravery, a strong ship, and a little bit of adventure, you could discover incredible new places, even ones you didn’t expect! And that is how the Vikings and Leif Erickson became the first Europeans to reach North America.

One sunny morning, as the family set out for their routine berry-picking adventure, Cody, the curious little cub, couldn't resist chasing after a colorful butterfly that fluttered in front of him. Page 1: Miko the Meerkat and Lizzy the lizard live in the hot and dry Kalahari Desert. Page 2: Miko and Lizzy are best friends and do everything together! Page 3: Miko is a bright (lively) and friendly meerkat. ( he loves popping and looking out of burrows to explore the Kalahari ) (Miko likes moving from place to place and can’t stay still!) Page 4: Lizzy is a clever lizard ( she loves to imagine about the stars in the sky so much that she sometimes forgets to listen in class ) whose mind never stopped racing. Page 5: Miko and Lizzy are different from their friends because they both have ADHD! Page 6: Miko struggled to stay still in class. He was always digging burrows and often got distracted during his How to Spot a Predator class. Page 7: Lizzy also struggled in class, she couldn’t focus on her sun safety class (she was easily distracted by the clouds in the sky and often forgot to take down her homework ) because of how fast her thoughts were moving. Page 8: (Miko and Lizzy struggled in class but their ADHD was an advantage!) After visiting Dr Wild, the Wildebeest, Miko and Lizzy learnt to do things that would help them to manage their ADHD. Page 9: Miko became the captain of the sand surfing team and had the fastest record in the desert! Miko was also top of his insect tracking class and created the first ever pair of insect spy goggles that could see different insect tracks and tells you what type of insect you are looking at! Page 10: Lizzy enjoyed stargazing so much that she was top of the class for astronomy and could name every constellation. Page 11: Even though Miko and Lizzy had some tough times with their ADHD, they both learnt cool tricks to help them feel better and do their best.

Kira and the First Encounter A small dragon hatchling trembles, hiding in the tall grass or among the rocks. Kira slowly reaches out to it, her eyes full of curiosity and care. The baby dragon has big, expressive eyes and small wings that have not yet learned to fly. Dragon Tracks On the soft snow or damp ground, there are small but clear footprints of the dragon hatchling. They lead into the thicket or to a hidden spot. Kira bends down, carefully examining the prints, while the dragon hatchling might be hiding nearby. Dragon in the Christmas Sky The little dragon, flapping its wings uncertainly, rises into the sky among the falling snowflakes. Its white or silvery body shimmers in the glow of holiday lights. Kira stands on a snowy street, looking up with a warm smile. A Walk in the Park An autumn park, golden leaves covering the ground. Kira walks along a narrow path while the dragon hatchling plays, jumping among the falling leaves. It happily hops around, wagging its little tail. The White Dragon The dragon hatchling is pure white, with fluffy little wings and adorable ears. It sits in the snow, trying to catch snowflakes with its tiny paws. Its eyes sparkle with delight. Dragon in the Fog The morning mist envelops the forest. A small dragon hatchling walks forward cautiously, curiously exploring the world around it. Its silhouette almost merges with the fog, while somewhere behind, Kira follows to make sure it doesn’t get lost.
