Write a 12 page children's book. The book is about two young children, a 7 year old girl named Saharah and a 5 year old boy named Zyon, traveling different countries of the world. each page shows them visiting a different country, visiting famous landmarks and trying local foods. The story starts with them in bed being read a bedtime story by their father who has sholder length dread locs in his hair, where he talks about lots of fun places around the world he'd like to visit. As they fall asleep and start to dream that is when the adventure begins. They visit Egypt, Zimbabwe, Djibouti, Dominica, Haiti, Portugal, Thailand, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Fiji. The last page is them waking up for their dream excited about the magical adventures they had just had.

Ms. Dennis tells the children find something they have in common, and asks them to bring an item that symbolizes the holidays they celebrate. When the children return, Avery brought a red, a blue, and a gold candle Avery's family celebrates Human Light, the candles represent, reason, compassion & hope. Jordan brings a Kinara his family celebrates Kwanzaa they light the candles to symbolize their community. Taylor brings a star from his Christmas tree. He explains that he celebrates Christmas and that the star is a reminder of the North Star the wise men followed to find Jesus. Mako brings a Bodi tree with lights. Mako's her family celebrates Bodi day, the day when the Buddha achieved enlightenment the lights on the tree represent the path to enlightenment. Alex brings a Menorah, Alex's family celebrates Hannukah, and the candles symbolize light's triumph over dark. River brings in a crown made of holly candles sticking out of it. her family celebrates Winter Solstice & the return of the sun. Ms. Dennis says all their celebrations revolve around light and the symbol of the Unitarian Universalist Church is a flaming chalice, each of the children have a light inside of them. River suggests they sing "This little light of mine" for the winter concert. Everyone agrees.

"Do you think she’s gone forever?" "I hope not," Mimi said sadly. "Lulu is our best friend." As they sat under a big tree feeling down, Mimi suddenly remembered. "Wait! Frogs hibernate in winter!" "What does that mean?" asked Didi. "It means Lulu isn’t gone," Mimi explained. "She’s sleeping through the winter to stay safe from the cold." "She’s just sleeping?" Didi’s eyes widened. "Exactly," Mimi said. Cheering up, the friends decided to make something special for Lulu. They built a snowman outside her house and left a note: "We miss you, Lulu! See you in spring!" When spring arrived, Lulu woke up and stretched. She saw the melted snowman and the note. Smiling, she hopped to the pond, where Mimi and Didi were waiting. "Lulu!" they cheered, running to her. "I’m so happy to see you!" Lulu said. "We missed you so much," said Didi. The three friends hugged, laughing. Mimi and Didi learned that even if a friend disappears for a while, it doesn’t mean they’re gone.
