Chad’s predicament could keep the story humorous, with townspeople misunderstanding or jumping to conclusions, but each interaction could introduce and define a different elicitation technique for the child reader.

You don't realize you've just inconvenienced me.” During their debate, they heard the sound of the bushes getting closer to them. “Did you hear that?” Alea whispered. “Stay behind me,” Aqma said firmly. Suddenly, a snake slithered out, hissing at them. “Aqma!” Alea shrieked, hiding behind him. “Grab the wood, quickly!” Aqma shouted. Nibbles Nugget Fluffball is a hamster that I know, I think that when I am sleeping, on adventures he does go. For when I wake up in the morning, the cage is open wide, I always think that he’s gone missing but he’s sleeping there inside… Each night when I’m supposed to sleep, I try my best to stay awake, I watch the cage, my heart a-thump, for Nibbles' daring break. But just when I think he's set to go, escaping through the door, I blink my eyes, and in a flash, I’m snoring on the floor! So I set up my camera, hoping to catch him on the run, But every time I check the screen, the footage is all done. The camera’s been turned off, or moved to some new place? Nibbles Nugget Fluffball! I see that smile on your face! The cage is empty every night, with crumbs and fluff inside, And little paw prints all around, where Nibbles likes to hide. He is up to something, but what it is I don’t quite know, So I lay awake and wonder where my sneaky hamster goes… One night, I finally stayed awake and watched, my eyes as big as moons, I felt that Nibbles would escape and make his move real soon. But when I peeked out from my bed, and tried to see him leave, I found him curled up in his cage, oh, how sneaky he can be! Setting is a Unitarian Universalist Sunday school classroom. The teacher is Ms. Dennis. One day Ms. Dennis tells them they are going to sing a song in the Winter concert, so they need to choose a song. Taylor suggests "the Little Drummer Boy" Alex does not like this idea because Alex is Jewish. Alex suggests singing "Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel". But Avery, who is not religious does not want to sing a song about Hannukah. River suggests they sing "Rudolf the red nosed reindeer". the children are excited except Mako. Mako says she does not know that song because she does not celebrate Christmas. The other children ask Mako to just sit out. Ms. Dennis tells them no, they are not going to exclude someone. Ms. Dennis tells the children find something they have in common, and asks them to bring an item that symbolizes the holidays they celebrate. When the children return, Avery brought a red, a blue, and a gold candle Avery's family celebrates Human Light, the candles represent, reason, compassion & hope. Jordan brings a Kinara his family celebrates Kwanzaa they light the candles to symbolize their community. Taylor brings a star from his Christmas tree. He explains that he celebrates Christmas and that the star is a reminder of the North Star the wise men followed to find Jesus. Mako brings a Bodi tree with lights. Mako's her family celebrates Bodi day, the day when the Buddha achieved enlightenment the lights on the tree represent the path to enlightenment. Alex brings a Menorah, Alex's family celebrates Hannukah, and the candles symbolize light's triumph over dark. River brings in a crown made of holly candles sticking out of it. her family celebrates Winter Solstice & the return of the sun. Ms. Dennis says all their celebrations revolve around light and the symbol of the Unitarian Universalist Church is a flaming chalice, each of the children have a light inside of them. River suggests they sing "This little light of mine" for the winter concert. Everyone agrees.

Jesus urged people t admit to our own flaws and imperfections, as well as being forthright with others and seeking God for help with or flaws. John Jr and Jade wanted to be more authentic or real. 2. John Jr and Jade discovered that God doesn't make mistakes and since they were made by God that they were perfect the way they are.. they understood that being lwith a ack of self-esteem, fear of judgment by others, and a strong desire for others to be like was harmful at trying to be authentic. John Jr and Jade decided to live life according to their own values and goals, rather than those of other people would help them be more authentic. 3. Granny always tell John Jr an Jade to " Keep it Real" when they are not playing and have to be around others. Granny explained that "Keeping it real" was when you try to Be True to Yourself, have Self-Awareness., Show Vulnerability, Admit Mistakes, Build Genuine Relationships, Practice Integrity, Value Others. By Being Non-Judgmental..John Jr and Jade started to be more authentic or real in their everyday life. 3. John Jr and Jade was going to self reflecti each night and be more acceptable of themselves to be more authentic in life.
