This is a story about a girl named ALIF who loved painting. She had a cat named Mittens who would always sit beside her while she painted. One day, ALIF decided to paint a picture of Mittens. She started painting and soon got lost in her work. Mittens, who was watching her, got curious and jumped onto the canvas. ALIF was surprised but then she got an idea. She started painting Mittens into the picture. From that day on, ALIF started painting pictures of Mittens in all sorts of different settings. She painted Mittens in a garden, on a beach, and even in space! ALIF’s paintings became so famous that people from all over the world started asking her to paint pictures of their pets. Nylon is having issues embracing his natural curly locks. Nylon figured the only other option he had was to ask his father if he could get his haircut. So, one Saturday morning Nylon's father took him to the local barbershop to get a haircut. Although this is what Nylon thought was going to be life changing, he still didn't feel any different, eventhough his hair was now gone. When Nylon returned to school on Monday all the kids were looking and pointing not quite the response Nylon was looking for, one of his classmates Syer asked him "Heyyyy, why did you cut your hair? "I thought your hair was really cool looking, I wish my hair would curl like that." Nylon gave a slight smile but on the inside he felt confused, but realized that none ever told him that they did not like his locks, no one ever made fun of him that he had extra curly hair, but instead it was his insecurities about his locks that made him feel that everyone else felt the exact same way that he did. From that day on Nylon realized sometimes being different is what makes us all be unique. Nylon went back home and told his dad that he thinks he will let his hair grow back.

Michii was very sad when he remembered that he could not see the beauty of the world, the beautiful colors, or the sky that people said was blue, because Michii had been blind since he had been a baby. When he tried to tell his friend Yuna, Yuna took Michii to see Michii's mother and asked for permission to go to the next village festival the following day. Yuna is a cat with the black fur The next day, Michii was still feeling sad, but she was surprised and happy when Yuna took her to enjoy lots of delicious snacks at other village’s festival. Michii was happy. Yuna said that the world was beautiful and that they had to move forward with their hopes, such as the hope of being able to try other delicious snack variants in the future.
