"If we have kindness and love in our hearts, our words will be kind and loving too." "Like saying sorry when I'm wrong?" Ish asked. Page 6: "Exactly," XL smiled. "And complimenting Osh on his drawings?" "Even if they look like scribbles?" Ish giggled. Page 7: "Everyone makes mistakes," Jesus said gently. "But it's important to learn from them and try to be better." Page 8: "So, washing our hands is still important?" Osh asked, wanting to be sure. "Yes," XL chuckled, "We need clean hands and clean hearts!" Page 9: Osh and Ish thought about this. They realized that being kind and choosing kind words was just as important as washing their hands. Page 10: "From now on, I'll try to use my words to make others happy, not sad," Osh declared. Page 11: "Me too!" Ish chimed in. "Let's spread kindness, not germs!" They all laughed. Page 12: As they continued on their journey, Osh and Ish remembered Jesus' lesson. They learned that true cleanliness came from within, and that their words had the power to hurt or to heal.

1 Vsako leto za velikonočne praznike sta Marija in Jožef skupaj z mnogimi drugimi ljudmi potovala v Jeruzalem, da bi v templju častila Boga. V Svetem pismu beremo, kaj se je zgodilo na enem od teh potovanj. 2 Ko je bil Jezus star dvanajst let, je prvič smel iti tudi on zraven. Skupaj s starši, Jožefom in Marijo, ter sosedi so se odpravili v Jeruzalem. Do tja so hodili tri dni. 3 Ko so prispeli v Jeruzalem, je bil Jezus prevzet od veselja, da je končno v hiši svojega Očeta. 4 Ko je bil čas za odhod domov, je Jezus ostal v templju, ne da bi njegovi starši to opazili. Marija in Jožef sta mislila, da je Jezus pri popotni druščini skupaj s svojimi prijatelji. 5 Jezus pa se je medtem v templju pogovarjal z učitelji postave. Učitelji so mu postavljali vprašanja in se čudili njegovi modrosti. Bili so presenečeni, kako ta deček pozna in razume vse, kar je zapisano v Svetem pismu! 6 Ko sta bila Jožef in Marija že ves dan na poti domov, sta proti večeru začela iskati Jezusa. Spraševala sta pri vseh sorodnikih in znancih, a nihče ni vedel, kje je Jezus. Medtem, ko so se druge družine odpravljale k počitku, sta se Jožef in Marija v velikih skrbeh podala nazaj proti Jeruzalemu. 7 Vso dolgo noč sta hodila in naslednje jutro, utrujena in neprespana, iskala Jezusa po mestu. Končno sta ga našla v templju in njegova mama mu je rekla: »OTROK, ZAKAJ SI NAMA TO STORIL? V VELIKIH SKRBEH SVA TE ISKALA?« 8 »KAKO DA STA ME ISKALA? MAR NISTA VEDELA, DA MORAM BITI V HIŠI SVOJEGA OČETA?« je odgovoril Jezus. 9 Potem se je Jezus vrnil z njima nazaj domov v Nazaret, saj je vedno poslušal svoje starše in jih ubogal. 10 Njegova mama Marija je vse, kar se je zgodilo, ohranila in premišljevala v svojem srcu. Jezus pa je rastel in bil vedno bolj moder in priljubljen pri Bogu in pri ljudeh.

Once upon a time, over a thousand years ago,in the 11th Century, there lived a brave Viking named Leif Erickson. Leif loved the sea, just like his father before him. He had a big ship, and he was always looking for new places to explore. One day, Leif heard stories about a mysterious land far to the west, beyond the cold waters from where he lived. Excited and curious, he gathered his crew and set sail. They packed their ship with food and strong shields for the journey. The wind blew, and the waves were bigger than expected, they splashed against his ship as they sailed across the ocean. The stars guided their way. For many days and nights, they sailed, until one day, they saw land in the distance! What could this new place be? Leif and his crew sailed closer and found a land with tall trees, and grapes growing on vines. Leif was so happy to see such a beautiful place that he named it Vinland, which means "Land of Wine." The Vikings set up camp and built small houses to stay in. They spent the winter in Vinland, enjoying the fresh food and exploring the forests and fields. But as winter came to an end, Leif knew it was time to return home. He and his crew packed up their ship, and with one last look at the beautiful land, they set sail back home. Leif promised himself he would tell everyone about this amazing place he had discovered. When they returned home, Leif shared the story of Vinland with other Vikings. Even though he never returned to Vinland, he was proud to be the first European to find and explore it. And so, the tale of Leif Erickson and his journey across the Atlantic Ocean was told for many years. He showed everyone that with bravery, a strong ship, and a little bit of adventure, you could discover incredible new places, even ones you didn’t expect! And that is how the Vikings and Leif Erickson became the first Europeans to reach North America.
