The woman who'd owned it had gotten too old, to care for the flowers and bushes she'd planted, and the apples that grew were too much to handle. She needed someone who would pull all of the weeds, pick the ripe apples, and tidy the yard; well, what was the problem? That didn't sound hard! There was just one other thing the old woman needed: someone who would treat the creaky, quaint cottage the way it truly deserved to be treated!
