Sally thought maybe she could try to talk to the fisherman. She flew over to him and said “excuse me, sir, but could you please let my friend the fish go?” But the fisherman only heard “caw, caw, caw caaaw, caw caw.” Sally flew back to the fish. The fish asked, “is he going to let me go?” “No” Sally replied, “he doesn’t speak seagull.” Just then a sea otter swam up, he had heard them talking and was wondering what the commotion was all about. Emma looks closely and says, "The well has a metal cover. That’s special!" Page 5 Next, they visit the Tin Hau Temple. Emma is surprised and says, "There are so many statues in the temple!" The teacher explains, "These are the gods that protect the village. We can pray here for blessings." Page 6 In the temple, the kids see two old bronze bells. Emma asks, "What are these bells for?" The teacher says, "People ring the bells to tell the gods and pray for safety." Page 7 Before the trip ends, the kids take pictures on the village path. One day, a rabbit named Cici got bored of eating the wild spinach around her yard. The spinach looked unattractive, even though her mother often gave the plants fertilizer. Cici walked restlessly, she kept looking for delicious food whether it was vegetables or fruit around the forest, but she never found it. Finally she came to a carrot field that she thought was unguarded by humans. She broke through and enjoyed the carrots which turned out to taste very sweet and fresh. “Ciciii, enough and come back here!” Kiki and Lulu approached Cici from outside the fence, and forbade her from continuing to eat the carrots. Cici didn't care and ran away, but she was caught in a trap net that was indeed in the field. Lulu and Kiki finally helped Cici untie the net, finally Cici was free from the trap and ran with Lulu and Kiki away from the field.
