The battle, which was won by the Union, is widely considered the Civil War's turning point, ending the Confederacy's aspirations to establish an independent nation. It was the Civil War's bloodiest battle, claiming over 50,000 combined casualties over three days. 4. Yuēhàn found some information of the final battle and shared it with John Jr. The Battle of Palmito Ranch took place on May 12–13, 1865, near the Rio Grande in Cameron County, Texas. Uno’s small horn glows golden and smacks the bigger unicorn away. The magical flow attracts the adults and soon the big brother unicorn has to bow and apologize. Emma and Uno run in the junior finals but they don’t win. However Uno promises they can always try again next year. Uno and Emma hug on the last page of the story.
