Trika wants to go to the moon with her cat, Cat. While packing, they hear a noise. Cat asks, Do you hear that? Trika says, Yes! Let’s follow it. They find a creature with its wing stuck under a boulder and help. Grateful, the creature suggests visiting the wise tree in the Forest of Magic. They find the wise tree crying. Hello Wise Tree! Why are you crying? they ask. The Wise Tree replies, I feel left out because I’m a willow among spruces. Trika comforts the tree, Don’t be ashamed! Talk to the spruces—they’ll be your friends. The Wise Tree befriends the spruces. Grateful, it asks how to return the favor. Trika asks, Can you tell us how to get to the moon? The Wise Tree says, Soak this rope in the magical river on the mountain. Trika and Cat thank the tree and head to the mountain. At the river, the fairies say the water isn’t magical because a fairy is lost. Trika finds the lost fairy, soaks the rope in the river, and lassos the moon. She climbs to the moon with Cat.

A parent helps them start the fire. “Be safe, boys!” they say. “Yummy! Let’s roast marshmallows!” says Tipene. They laugh as they cook. They sit by the fire. “Tell me a story!” Nikora asks. Tipene begins. The sky gets dark, and stars twinkle above. “Look at all the stars!” says Nikora. They lie on the grass, dreaming about the stars. “What do you see?” asks Tipene.

In the vast grasslands of South America, where the sun shines brightly and the wind whispers through tall grasses, lived a curious creature called the maned wolf. With his reddish-brown coat and bushy tail that looked like a flame, he was a sight to behold. His name came from the mane of fur around his neck, which made him look a little like a fox and a little like a wolf. One day, as the maned wolf was exploring the grasslands, he heard a piercing cry. Looking up, he saw a magnificent bird soaring high above. It was an aplomado falcon, with sharp eyes and powerful wings. The falcon swooped down towards the ground, its claws outstretched. The maned wolf watched with wide eyes as the falcon landed near a small burrow. With a quick flick of its wings, the falcon pounced on something hidden inside. It emerged moments later, carrying a small rodent in its beak. The maned wolf was intrigued. He had never seen a falcon hunt before. As the falcon flew away, the maned wolf approached the burrow. He sniffed around curiously, until he caught a whiff of something delicious. It was the rodent that the falcon had caught! The maned wolf realized that the falcon was a skilled hunter, and that its prey could be a tasty meal for him. From that day on, the maned wolf and the falcon became friends. The maned wolf would watch as the falcon hunted, and then he would scavenge for any leftovers. In return, the maned wolf would warn the falcon of any danger lurking in the tall grasses. Their friendship was a great benefit to both animals. The maned wolf had a steady supply of food, while the falcon knew that it could rely on the maned wolf to keep watch. And so, they lived happily ever after, a reminder that even the most unlikely creatures can form the most beautiful friendships.

Page 2 The two brothers arrived at the Old Wall and saw the ancient wall and narrow gate. Ming told Wah that this place once defended against pirate invasions. Page 3 As they walked into the village, they saw villagers preparing for the Spring and Autumn Festival. Wah excitedly said, “I want to see these traditional rituals!” Page 4 Ming took Wah to the Tin Hau Temple, where a statue of Tin Hau was enshrined. They saw villagers ringing bells to pray for safety, feeling the power of faith. Page 5 Next, they arrived at the ancient well. Wah curiously asked, “How old is this well?” Ming replied, “It’s an important water source for villagers, over a hundred years old!” Page 6 They visited the Song Ling Tang Temple and admired the beautiful wood carvings and statues. Ming told Wah it was built to honor their ancestors. Page 7 The brothers ran through the fields of the village, enjoying the beauty of nature. Wah said, “The air here is so fresh; I love it!” Page 8 Finally, they sat on a hillside, watching the sunset. Ming and Wah promised to return to Lung Yeuk Tau in the future to explore more secrets!

Their eyes sparkled with excitement as they opened it. Inside, they found not gold or jewels, but a collection of beautiful, colorful toys! There were spinning tops, soft teddy bears, and puzzles. At first, they were thrilled, but soon they realized that there were too many toys for just the two of them. Mia looked at Leo and said, "We could keep all these toys to ourselves, but wouldn’t it be more fun to share them with everyone in Sunnyville?" "You're right! Let’s invite all our friends to a big toy party!" Says Leo. So, they hurried back to town, spreading the word. The next day, their friends gathered at the park with laughter and excitement. Mia and Leo set up a colorful blanket and laid out all the toys for everyone to play with. The party was a huge success! Mia and Leo realized that sharing the treasure brought them all closer together and made the day even more special. As the sun began to set, they all sat together, munching on cookies and sipping lemonade. Mia turned to Leo and said, "This is the best treasure of all—our friendship and the joy of sharing!"
