The Mumma Who Didn’t Want to Grow Up By Kaveer Shah Once upon a time, there was a kid and his mumma. But his mumma didn’t want to grow up! So the kid had to do everything for her. He made her brush her teeth, change her clothes, eat her food, and even take a shower. He even had to put her to bed! His mumma acted just like a kid. The boy laughed, "Haha, Mumma! Why are you acting like me? I’m only 7 years old!" "Fine," he said, "I will act like a mumma." The next day, Mumma made the kid do everything—brush, eat, change, and shower. That’s when the boy understood how much his mumma does for him every single day. He realized that being a mumma is a lot of work! And when the kid grew up, he never forgot it. He took care of his whole family, just like his mumma had always taken care of him.

Takes place in Biblical times. A lane man who can’t walk is laying on a mat on the side of the road sad. After a while people come to bring him food and comfort him since he can’t walk. Then, one day a crowd gathered to listen to a man name Jesus talk. He was known for performing miracles and healing the sick and wounded. The lame man heard about Jesus and thought maybe he can walk again today. The crowd was too big so the lame man’s friends made a way to get him to the roof where Jesus was speaking. They made a hole in the roof and carefully lowered him down right in front of Jesus. Jesus saw the lame man laying there and smiled at him. Jesus told him to stand up and walk. The Lame Man was in shock. His legs were now strong. He stood up, took his mat, and began to walk The Lame man started praising God with joy! The people who saw this miracle couldn’t believe their eyes. They celebrated for him. The Lame Man thanked Jesus The Lame Man walked everywhere he went that day with a smile on his face and told everyone about the miracle Jesus performed The Lame man’s heart with filled with gratitude knowing Jesus cared for him

Finally, after a long, long time, Mai and her family arrived at a big camp where many other families were waiting for a fresh start. And guess what? One day, they got amazing news! They were going to America! Mai couldn’t believe it! America was so far away, but she was ready for a new adventure! When they arrived in America, everything was HUGE! The buildings touched the sky, the streets were full of cars, and people spoke a different language. But Mai wasn’t afraid—she made new friends, learned new words, and even found a big playground to play on! Soon, Mai and her family made a happy new home. They kept their traditions, sang their songs, and celebrated with their new neighbors. Mai’s adventure wasn’t over—it was just beginning! The priest then elevates the host and we all kneel as a family. its so beautiful to see Jesus be with us. 6. We walk up to receive Jesus together. 7. After church is done we all have a smile on our face and stand on our feet to go out into the world.

Mother is explaining family history to her small baby son. She tells him that she grew up spending time with her grandma and grandpa Gross. She has many special memories with them. Grandma Gross, Darlene, grew up in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. She had 2 sisters, she liked to roller skate, she liked to write, and . Her Grandpa Gross, James, grew up in Lastrup, Minnesota. He had 2 brothers and 2 sisters, he helped out at his father's grocery store, could fix just about anything, and joined the Navy. Darlene and Jim met at the Falls Ballroom and fell in love. They married September 1st, 1956 and went on to have 4 daughters. As a family, Grandma and Grandpa and the 4 girls traveled, went camping, visited grandparents, and had family dinners together. Eventually the 4 daughters grew up and had their own kids and mama was born. Mama spent time with her grandparents at their Camper at Camp Holiday, and had Christmas, holidays, and birthday celebrations with the entire family. Grandma and mama were very close. Mama has the wedding ring that grandpa presented to grandma all those years ago in 1956. Grandma and Grandpa are buried at Fort Snelling.
