Page 1 Today, Alex and Emma are going on a school trip to Lung Yeuk Tau. They are very excited to see the beautiful mountains and old villages! Page 2 The bus drives along the mountain road to Lung Yeuk Tau. Alex tells Emma, "The mountains here look like a dragon jumping, so it’s called Lung Yeuk Tau!" Emma laughs and says, "That’s so interesting!" Page 3 They arrive at the old village called Old Wai and see the tall walls. Emma asks, "Why are the walls so thick here?" The teacher replies, "They were built to keep pirates away!" Page 4 The kids see an old well. Alex points and says, "This well was used by villagers for drinking water." Emma looks closely and says, "The well has a metal cover. That’s special!" Page 5 Next, they visit the Tin Hau Temple. Emma is surprised and says, "There are so many statues in the temple!" The teacher explains, "These are the gods that protect the village. We can pray here for blessings." Page 6 In the temple, the kids see two old bronze bells. Emma asks, "What are these bells for?" The teacher says, "People ring the bells to tell the gods and pray for safety." Page 7 Before the trip ends, the kids take pictures on the village path. They agree to come back next time to join the village’s traditional activities and learn more about the culture. Page 8 Back at school, Alex and Emma excitedly share their trip stories. Everyone listens with great interest, looking forward to the day they can explore Lung Yeuk Tau together!

Due fratelli litigavano tutti i giorni per ogni cosa. Un giorno la mamma li porta a trovare i nonni in campagna. Era caduto in una grossa buca. La bambina è disperata perché suo fratello è ferito quindi cerca in ogni modo di farlo uscire. Trova finalmente un grosso ramo sul quale lui riesce ad arrampicarsi e con fatica esce dalla buca. Zoppica perché si è storto la caviglia. Il fratello dice alla sorella di chiamare la mamma ma lei non vuole lasciarlo lì da solo. La sorella lo aiuta e insieme tornano verso casa. Vicino a casa chiamano a gran voce aiuto. Dopo lo spavento che si è presa la sorella e la riconoscenza del fratello per l aiuto ricevuto, non litigheranno più per ogni cosa e si aiuteranno sempre qualsiasi cosa accada, perché un fratello o una sorella è la cosa più preziosa che si ha.

Beebee is a small fluffy white Maltese. He loves to dance on his hind legs and swing his tail around like a chopper. One day he was chasing butterflies in the driveway and got hit by a visitor's car. His mom rushed him to the vet, where he had to get surgery on his hind legs and his tail was amputated. After a long recovery, with lots of love and support, his mom encouraged him to dance again.

One morning Juliet woke up earlier than usual. She was very excited because today she and her parents, Sergei and Tilly, were going to visit her Uncle Peter's farm. It was her favourite place! They quickly got ready and set off. ‘I can't wait to see all the animals!’ Juliet said happily. ‘Don't worry, you'll see them soon!’ smiled Sergei. She took a bucket of grain and began to feed the chickens. They clucked happily, and the little yellow chicks ran after their mother. Juliet was happy to watch them. Juliet enjoyed watching them and felt like a real farmer. Page 4: Riding a horse After lunch, Uncle Peter invited Juliet to ride his horse, Windy. ‘I've always wanted to do that!’ - Juliet said. She climbed on Windy's back and the horse began to trot gently across the green field. Juliet held on to his mane and laughed with delight as the wind blew her hair. Page 5: Returning home After a fun day at the farm, Juliet, Sergei and Tilly said goodbye to Uncle Peter and his animals. ‘This was the best day!’ - Juliet said. ‘Come back again, there are always new adventures waiting for you!’ - said Uncle Peter.
