This is a story of a young family and the lessons they learn from their vacation with their mother at a seaside beach resort and carnival with rides and games and mysteries. Three young children the boy is the oldest at 10 then there’s the oldest sister who is 7 and the youngest is 4 and their mother.

Harvey is a 16 year old boy who is working as a newspaper delivery boy for the newspaper company. He gets paid every Thursday. This is his first job and he gets paid by check. Mr. Smith is his boss. Thursday Harvey gets his first paycheck and gets very sad. He was supposed to make 100 dollars but the check is only 70 dollars. Mr. Smith sees that Harvey gets sad and explains to him what deductions are. He starts with federal taxes which is about 8 dollars from Harvey's paycheck. The government collects taxes from all citizens to built bridges and highways and fund the army. He then explains what the social security deduction is for and also, medicare, state and city taxes. At the end Harvey is glad that the government is thinking to save money for him so he gets it when he retires. Sparky is Harvey's dog. He is sad when Harvey is sad and then gets happy at the end when Harvey understands how taxes work.

Aqma sounds unique and strong,” Rina replied. “We should be friends!” Before I knew it, other kids gathered around. “Aqma is a great name!” one said. I couldn’t stop smiling. I never thought anyone would like my name, let alone think it was cool. By the end of the day, I felt proud. Mom was right all along. My name is Aqma, and I think it’s VERY cool!

He felt calm and safe, knowing he wasn't alone. He drifted off to sleep, with Marshall beside him, a promise of safety and love. The next morning, Johan woke up feeling proud of himself. He had slept alone, and he had done it with the help of his best friend, Marshall From that day on, Johan continued to sleep in his own bed.

Nate now had a name for his troubles called ADHD, he got a special plan at school and he wasn't just having trouble with inattention, he has impulsivity too. without intention he would disrupt the class by fidgeting, moving around and leaving his seat. he would run when you are supposed to walk, and he sometimes talked too much or interrupt people, or blurt out an answer without being asked. He had a hard time playing quietly and waiting his turn. the special strategies sometimes weren't enough so the doctor prescribed him some medication to help calm his body and focus. with supports, love and a special plan he was able to pass his grade and graduate.
