Berries, for speed to defeat Dr. Cavity's fuss, against sugar-filled cereals, and foods so unjust. But back in the real world, he heard a call, "The bus is here!" – it was time to enthrall. He grabbed an orange, berries in a dash, and off to the bus, he'd quickly flash. Energized and eager, for the day ahead, his lunch bag adventures, no one could dread. For Sere was a hero, fighting the good fight, making healthy choices, morning and night. The end of this tale, with lessons quite clear, choose healthy foods, have no fear. But one day, Max started to feel yucky. He had a runny nose and a sore throat. He didn't feel like playing anymore and just wanted to rest. His mom took care of him, but Max wondered, What happened to him? A wise old owl came to visit Max.Max explained how he was feeling, and the owl listened carefully. The owl explained, "Germs are tiny bugs that can make us sick. They're too small to see, but they're everywhere! They can be on doorknobs, toys, and even on our hands." Max's eyes widened with surprise. The owl continued, "Germs can spread when we touch things that have germs on them, like doorknobs or toys, and then touch our faces." Max thought about all the things he touched before getting sick. But the owl had good news: "There's a magic way to keep germs away: washing our hands with soap and water!" Max was curious about this magic. Max went to the sink and washed his hands with soap and water. He rubbed his hands together to make lots of bubbles and rinsed them thoroughly. After washing, Max felt cleaner and fresher. As the days passed, Max started to feel better. He was strong and healthy again, thanks to washing his hands regularly. Max was happy to play outside with his friends once more.

Nik is from Haiti and moving to America to go to school. He is excited to meet his new family, 3 brothers and 2 sisters and a dog. He is very scared to leave Haiti. Nik was scared on the plane but loved seeing the big city lights. He liked his new home, it was bigger than hes ever seen. The washing machine and dryer was very scary to him because he had never seen one before. His dog Luna was sweet and friendly. All of the food is very different. He didn't like ice cream or cake but he loved spaghetti and pizza. Nik was both excited and sad at bedtime. He's never had a room or a bed to himself so it was a little scary. His new mom stayed with him until he was ready for sleep. As he lied there alone, looking at the stars in the sky, he wasn't scared anymore because he knew his family in Haiti was looking at the same stars.

A little girl, Sofia, is playing in her room. Her mother comes and says that they are going to watch a meteor shower. Sofia is happy, puts on her rubber boots and takes an umbrella. Her mother smiles and explains that a meteor shower is not an ordinary rain and that an umbrella is not needed.
