But, as the fog began to lift slowly, in front of himself Dookie noticed a dozen of mole hole, each with a mole on the top, looking at Dookie with defiance 11. Hi, I’m Karots, the Welsh pony, and though I may be a bit older now, I still have a mischievous streak! As a lesson pony, I spend my days teaching children not just how to ride but how to stay alert and on their toes! My mornings start like anyone else's—with breakfast, but don’t dare give me food I don’t like, or I’ll simply refuse to eat! After my meal, I play with my pony pals—biting, kicking, and running around wildly—it’s our favorite way to bond! Then, the real fun begins. I know when the children arrive, and I can’t wait to greet them. I like to test my new two-legged friends as soon as they put the halter on, by bolting out of the stall. Sometimes I run so fast I lift them right off their feet—what a ride! Of course, if they let go of the lead rope, it’s FREEDOM! I trot around like the star of my own parade, and the humans reward me with carrots and cookies for my stellar performance. Once they catch me, it’s time for the next round of fun in the arena. I make sure their ride is exciting—no boring trotting in circles for me! I prefer zig-zag patterns, spontaneous canters, and inserting my head or leg through the fence, just to make them squeal. I’ve also mastered the art of picking up branches, just to see how long I can hold on while they try to pry them from my mouth! Of course, after all that fun, I always end the day with good behavior. The children un-tack me, give me lots of scratches (the human version of chewing, I’ve learned), and most importantly, plenty of carrots. After all, carrots are a Karots’ favorite treat!

One sunny day, Caira was in her room, reading her favorite book about stars and planets. Then, poof! Out of a sparkle of light, a unicorn appeared! "Hello, Caira! Caira tried a pink gumdrop. "Yum!" she giggled. Then, they flew to the Rainbow Planet. There were rivers of colors that sparkled and shone. Caira dipped her finger in, and it turned rainbow too! Next stop was the Bubble Planet. Bubbles floated everywhere! Big bubbles, small bubbles, even bubbles you could sit on! Caira and Luna bounced and giggled as bubbles popped around them. "Time to go home, Caira," said Luna softly. They flew back through the stars and rainbows until they landed gently back in Caira's room. "Thank you, Luna," said Caira, giving the unicorn a big hug. "Remember, Caira," Luna said with a smile, "magic is everywhere when you believe!" And with a poof, Luna was gone. But Caira knew… her unicorn friend was just a dream away. ✨
