Ella quiso correr en la carrera de pista. En una tarde soleada al azar, zapatos de Air Force Unos volaron en la ventana de casa alta. Los Forces eran mágicos, y Cinderella se vistió. Fran and Jim go to the beach. Fran’s parents and Jim’s parents are there. Fran, Jim and both of their parents are from the Turks and Caicos Islands. Fran takes off her slippers and feels the sand between her toes. Jim runs towards the sea; he couldn’t wait to get into the water. Before reaching the water, Jim pauses, looks around and shouts to Fran to go into the water with him. Fran starts to run towards Jim then stops before reaching the water. Jims asks “what’s wrong? Don’t you want to go swimming with me?”. Fran looked a little sad and said “I want to go swimming but I don’t know how. I am afraid.” Jim tells Fran, “don’t be afraid, I have something that can help you to learn how to swim. Come with me.” Jim then runs towards his parents and shouts to his mother, “mommy, can you please give me the arm floats?”. Jim’s mother took out the arm floats from her beach bag, and gave them to Jim. Jim gave one to Fran and said “here, blow that float up and I will blow this one up”. Fran and Jim each blew up one arm float. Then Jim said “Now slide these up your arms. I will help you. They will help you to float in the water.” After the floats were on her little upper arms, she held out her arms and started to walk towards the water with Jim. Jim went into the water up to his knees first. Jim then turned and reached out his hand to Fran and said “come in the water with me”. Fran held his hand and walked into the water with him. As Fran went further into the water, she then exclaimed to Jim “I can’t feel the bottom with my feet anymore!”. Jim then laughed and said, “that’s because you are floating”. Then Fran realized that the arm floats were helping her to float. She then laughed and shouted to her parents saying “Mommy, Daddy, I am floating!”. Her parents waved to her smiling and Jim’s parents were also smiling. Fran and Jim then had fun laughing and playing in the water together, while both of their parents looked on, smiling. Fran and Jim had the best beach day ever.

Lily, nervous about starting at a new school in a new town, misses her old friends and worries about making new ones. The night before her first day, Lily and her mom pray for courage and guidance. On her first day, Lily meets her teacher, Mrs. Green, and new classmates. During recess, she wants to join a soccer game but feels scared. Whispering a prayer for courage, she bravely asks to join and is warmly welcomed by the kids. She makes new friends, especially Emma, who invites her to lunch. At home, Lily’s dad shares Proverbs 3:5, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart," which boosts her confidence. The next day, she notices Jack sitting alone and invites him to play, spreading kindness and joy. Through these moments, Lily learns that trusting God gives her bravery and kindness. She prays nightly, grateful for God’s guidance and love. By the book’s end, Lily realizes that with faith, she can overcome any challenge, secure in God’s enduring love.

The wise old turtle, slow but smart,Spread the word, made a start.The mighty sea spirit heard the call,And sent a wave—so huge, so tall! Just before Finn took the drop,The ocean roared—SPLASH, PLOP!A mighty wave, so strong, so wide,Swept Finn safely back inside. Morwen shrieked, her spell went poof,She slipped and slid right off the roof!Down she tumbled, wet and mad,No more spells—oh, she was sad!
