Setting is a Unitarian Universalist Sunday school classroom. The teacher is Ms. Dennis. One day Ms. Dennis tells them they are going to sing a song in the Winter concert, so they need to choose a song. Taylor suggests "the Little Drummer Boy" Alex does not like this idea because Alex is Jewish. Alex suggests singing "Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel". But Avery, who is not religious does not want to sing a song about Hannukah. River suggests they sing "Rudolf the red nosed reindeer". the children are excited except Mako. Mako says she does not know that song because she does not celebrate Christmas. The other children ask Mako to just sit out. Ms. Dennis tells them no, they are not going to exclude someone. Ms. Dennis tells the children find something they have in common, and asks them to bring an item that symbolizes the holidays they celebrate. When the children return, Avery brought a red, a blue, and a gold candle Avery's family celebrates Human Light, the candles represent, reason, compassion & hope. Jordan brings a Kinara his family celebrates Kwanzaa they light the candles to symbolize their community. Taylor brings a star from his Christmas tree. He explains that he celebrates Christmas and that the star is a reminder of the North Star the wise men followed to find Jesus. Mako brings a Bodi tree with lights. Mako's her family celebrates Bodi day, the day when the Buddha achieved enlightenment the lights on the tree represent the path to enlightenment. Alex brings a Menorah, Alex's family celebrates Hannukah, and the candles symbolize light's triumph over dark. River brings in a crown made of holly candles sticking out of it. her family celebrates Winter Solstice & the return of the sun. Ms. Dennis says all their celebrations revolve around light and the symbol of the Unitarian Universalist Church is a flaming chalice, each of the children have a light inside of them. River suggests they sing "This little light of mine" for the winter concert. Everyone agrees.

Maria loved playing with her dolls, but she didn't like tidying up after herself. One day,her room got so messy that her dolls "complained" they couldn't "sleep". Maria quickly cleaned up her room and realized how much nicer it looked.

Harvey is a 16 year old boy who is working as a newspaper delivery boy for the newspaper company. He gets paid every Thursday. This is his first job and he gets paid by check. Mr. Smith is his boss. Thursday Harvey gets his first paycheck and gets very sad. He was supposed to make 100 dollars but the check is only 70 dollars. Mr. Smith sees that Harvey gets sad and explains to him what deductions are. He starts with federal taxes which is about 8 dollars from Harvey's paycheck. The government collects taxes from all citizens to built bridges and highways and fund the army. He then explains what the social security deduction is for and also, medicare, state and city taxes. At the end Harvey is glad that the government is thinking to save money for him so he gets it when he retires. Sparky is Harvey's dog. He is sad when Harvey is sad and then gets happy at the end when Harvey understands how taxes work.

Beppe clapped his little hands as the bright yellow bus rolled into view. His sister Nina held his tiny hand, guiding him aboard. The bus had big, shiny wheels, and they made a fun sound as they went round and round. “The wheels on the bus go round and round!” Nina sang, and Beppe giggled, swaying to the music. Beppe looked out the window and saw the trees. “Swish, swish, swish!” Nina said, pointing at the branches moving in the wind. Beppe laughed and tapped the window with his fingers. Inside the bus, Nina found a button. “Beep, beep, beep!” she said, pretending to press it. Beppe joined in, making cheerful little noises. As the bus stopped, Beppe spotted its big, round wheels again. They still went round and round in his mind. The adventure had been full of music, motion, and fun. Back at home, Beppe sat with Nina, babbling happily. He couldn’t wait to ride the bus again and sing with his sister.

Your Daddy’s a hero in a faraway place, loving and missing your beautiful face. The angels are watching him every day, because every night for his safety we pray. Even though he had to go, he just wanted you to know: that he loves you every day and he knows you wish he could have stayed. Even though he could not, all the times are not forgotten, that he gave you goodnight kisses. And all the smiles that he misses. The way he watched you grow and grow, the last time he got to say hello. All the times you laughed together, and played outside in gorgeous weather. Just this morning your Daddy told me that he missed his little balayage. He loves you more than you can know, even though he had to go. One day soon he’ll come home to you, and on that day a single hug and kiss will just not do. He’ll shower you with so much love, because you are all he ever thinks of. Every night when you go to bed, and bedtime stories have been read. A single hug and kiss is not enough and you’re tired of being tough.Let me hold you in my arms, and tell you stories of Daddy’s charms. I’ll remind you I miss him too, and sometimes it makes me a little blue. We both love Daddy and miss him silly, and he will be home soon enough, really. Really.

A small dog named Bondi lived on the street and didn't have any. But one day the dog met a boy whose name was Damir. Damir was nine years old. The boy brought food to the small dog and they became friends. The boy taught the dog many different commands, and Bondi taught the boy to understand what true friendship is. Demi memenuhi sumpahnya, Gajah Mada dan Bagong bergegas berangkat ke Gunung Sindoro. Tapi ditengah perjalanan, di sebuah Kampung Dedemit. mereka dihadang oleh para makhluk gaib. Ada hantu pohon Rajasi, Butho Cakli dan Burisrawa. Gajah Mada sempat kewalahan melawan demit-demit itu

A boy born on 27th February, a Sunday in 1994. It was still winter. He brought the Spring back into his families lives early that year. He was first given a nickname, Chunky, by his aunt Chutki. His father named him Soham Krishna on the day of his Annaprashan. He quickly grew close, and quite protective, to his cousins, a trait he carries to this day. He was the beloved of his grandparents and loved spending time with them, especially his shondada. No sooner was he a Kindergartener, he was also learning to draw and swim. 8 years felt like a blink as his mother and I set him off on his learning journey. Always quick to make friends, he had met twin boys at The Frank Anthony Public School. Taking a liking to basketball and rugby, he featured regularly in school games. Passing out from Delhi Public School, Newtown in 2012 he gained admission into the MVJ College of Engineering. It was the first time he was going to live away from home. He joined TCS, Chennai in December 2016.
